How it works

Decide if you’d like us to come to your location, or if you’d like to have your event above the shop!
Our terrarium classes last about 60 minutes. You can add on additional time before or after your class if you’d like to use our space for mingling, eating/drinking, gift opening, etc.
Select which terrarium type and size you’d like to offer your guests. Decide if you’d like your workshop to be DIY, classroom or walk-up style (details below!).
Decide how long you’d like to have your event for (just the class or additional time before or after).
Fill out an inquiry form below. After confirming the date and logistics we will send over an invoice and contract for you to review. We require a 50% deposit to reserve the date for your event.

One B.Willow instructor for up to 18 guests, 2nd instructor required for 18+ guests (will require additional teaching fee)

Terrarium (tropical or desert), choice of container, size and number of plants per person

Class Structure

DIY style (materials and instructions provided in kit form, no B.Willow instructor required)

Demos can be provided for visual examples

Room set with seats for all guests
1-2 teachers instruct everyone at once with the ability to float and help guests as needed

Large room approx 18’x18’ when empty without furniture, 300-325 square feet not including kitchen standing room

Capacity

If your event is at B.Willow, we can host a max of 18 people for a sit down, classroom-style workshop and up to 40 people for a walk-up style workshop.
If we’re coming to your location, we can accommodate groups of all sizes. Just let us know what you have in mind!

Pricing

Per person materials fee = depends on selected class, range of $20-$60 per person
Teaching fee = $125 for one instructor, $225 for two. For larger groups, 40+ we may require a third instructor. We will go over all of this with you!
- Use of space fee

When booking workshops above the shop, your event includes 1 hour for your class plus 30 min setup and 30 min breakdown (2 hours provided with no additional use of space fee)

Events held at B.Willow must be invite only, not publicly advertised
(3) High top tables available for use at no additional charge provided they are not already in use.
B.Willow will provide tables and chairs for workshop

Grey tablecloths provided for workshop, guest may provide other linens if preferred

Guest must clean up after kitchen use and remove any items brought into the space

No food, dishes, glasses, etc provided. Host may bring any food, drinks or alcohol.
Host must remove all trash after event and return room to original state.
No smoking permitted, no candles other than birthday cake candles
Room includes several plants, any of which can be removed for more floorspace if you prefer
Space is not ADA accessible, guests must use staircase to enter
Upstairs workshop space must include a B.Willow workshop. If no workshop is requested, event will be held downstairs (different rates will apply).

Terms / Additional Information: Events held at your location

We can bring up to 4 folding tables if you do not have any usable surfaces. We will discuss setup with you prior to your event to make sure your space is suitable for the workshop.
You must provide chairs.
B.Willow will set up your workshop and clean up afterwards.
We do not need anything specific from you other than tables and chairs!
For large groups over 40 people, it can be helpful to present instructions by powerpoint. Please let us know if you have the ability to set us up with this.
Your workshop must have a specified start time even if it’s occurring during a larger event.
